Attorney Grosky spent the better part of two decades as a hard-nosed prosecutor, trying thousands of cases on behalf of the government. Now he's switched teams and wants to fight for you.
Prior to opening his own law firm, Attorney Grosky served as the prosecuting attorney for Salem (N.H.) Police Department from 2009 to 2024. There, he focused on district court prosecution, handling 100+ DUI cases a year and arguing in court each day on a range of cases from domestic violence to drugs, theft, assaults, stalking, major motor vehicle offenses and felony-level offenses including robbery, sexual assault, child pornography and burglary. Prior to prosecuting in Southern New Hanpshire, Attorney Grosky started his legal career with the Essex District Attorney's Office as an assistant district attorney in Lynn, Mass. There, he tried dozens of jury trials and argued suppression motions on cases involving guns, drug-dealing, repeat OUI offenders and a range of street crimes. Licensing / Education Attorney Grosky is licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He is a graduate of Massachusetts School of Law. He attended law school full-time at night while working full-time days as a newspaper reporter. He was hired as a news reporter with The Eagle-Tribune prior to his graduation from University of Massachusetts-Amherst. His first courtroom experience came as a journalist writing about criminal court cases. Recognitions His prior accomplishments include receiving the: • Pulitzer Prize for breaking news as part of a reporting team covering the deaths of four boys who fell through the ice into the Merrimack River, Lawrence, Mass. Receiving this award led Jason to enroll in law school. • Atkinson (NH) Police Citizen of the Year. • Salem Police Civilian Employee of the Year. • Forty Under 40 award from The Union-Leader newspaper. Community InvolvementServing his community is something that’s long been important to Attorney Grosky. He recently completed his second two-year term as Chairman of Rockingham County (NH) Republican Committee, having served on the committee's executive committee for 10 years. Attorney Grosky previously served six years as a selectman in Atkinson, topping the ballot in each election. His colleagues selected him to serve as Chairman of the Board of Selectman twice during his terms. He’s also a former budget committee member for the Timberlane Regional School District, and an ex officio member of the Town Planning Board and Budget Committee. He coached local sports for many years, most recently for the Salem Blue Devils and Granite State Elite softball programs. He’s a past member of the Rotary Club of Greater Salem, Atkinson Lions Club and board member for Timberlane Tornadoes Junior Football. Attorney Grosky grew up in the Bradford section of Haverhill, Mass. and attended Haverhill schools, graduating from Haverhill High School, Class of 1994. He fondly remembers announcing HHS basketball games for community access television, and writing for the Brown and Gold newspaper.
He’s called Southern New Hampshire home for 25 years. He and his wife have three children, a fat cat named Ronald Weasley and two well-loved dogs, Beesly and Pepper.
